Interferential Stimulator
Interferential therapy has grown in popularity over the past twenty years and is now one of the most widely used forms of electrotherapy in the United States. First developed in Europe, this form of stimulation has been used for numerous indications since the 1950s. Advanced Rehab Technologies has extensive experience using interferential stimulators to help patients manage pain.
High Volt Galvanic Stimulators
The Micro-Z High Volt Galvanic Stimulator
The Micro-Z is a small, lightweight stimulator designed to help patients receive electrotherapeutic treatment comfortably. It includes two treatment protocols: a 30-minute daytime treatment and an eight-hour nighttime treatment used while the patient sleeps.
The Micro-Z can be used for acute and chronic injuries, pain management, circulation support, improved range of motion, and minimizing soft tissue atrophy. Its compact size and compatibility with electrode garments make it a useful option for rehabilitation support.
T.E.N.S. Unit
Our standard T.E.N.S. unit includes a built-in timer. TENS units are usually covered by Medicare and many major insurance companies.
TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. A TENS unit is a portable, battery-operated device that sends electrical impulses to targeted parts of the body to help block pain signals. The electrical currents are mild and may help reduce pain transmission to the brain while supporting the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain relievers.
